Basics:

Bordered by Michigan Avenue on the West, the Chicago River on the North, Randolph Steet to the South and Lake Shore Drive on the East, this Chicago neighborhood is surrounded by all the best the city has to offer. Streeterville/River East sits on the north side of the river. The Loop, Grant and Millennium Parks, the Museum Campus are to the south and west.

Housing:

Until Recently, the neighborhood was only half-developed with less than 7000 residents. It was dominated by well known office buildings such as the Prudential & Aon buildings and the Fairmont Hotel.

The neighborhood has experienced an explosion of dramatic new housing options with the development of Lakeshore East on the former site of nine hole golf course.
